This is one of those paintings that I have been waiting a long time to do and I had many different sketches planned out for it and I just couldn't find the right style. So I went for a cartoonish almost anime style and I just thought it fit. This painting is based on the emotional song by the Beatles titled "Shes Leaving Home" and what I wanted the sudience to do for this one is to remember or actually listen to the song and stare at it and make that connection which I think works. Basically this is my way of ever becoming a music video director.

The first time I heard this song, my brother made me sing it on Rock Band. I was moved by the lyrics from the start, despite the fact I butchered the notes.

This picture goes really well with the song. I would love to see more like this on dA. <3

The funny thing about this song is that The Beatles producer, George Martin, told them not to put it on the Sgt. Peppers album because its sound was nothing like any of their other work, it didn't sound like The Beatles. I personally am thankful that they went ahead and did it.

Well, in a way it is suppose to be sad. It was actually a song that George Martin, Beatles producer, did not want them to do because it was so different but its a beautiful song. When you listen to the song, make reference to how they use the word Buy, By, Bye in every contest in each verse.

Thank you for the comment. I think that is a song that stands out the most for me of theirs and the funny thing is that George Martin their producer told them they should not put it on the album but they did it anyways
